Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the country's largest automobile manufacturer, has launched its most premium car, MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) at a starting price of ₹24.79 lakh. With the launch of Invicto, the automobile major has forayed into the vehicle category segment of over ₹20 lakh. This is the first time Maruti Suzuki has offered a product higher than ₹20 lakh vehicle category. Invicto is the highest-priced offering under Maruti Suzuki's portfolio.

The MPV comes into three-variants — Zeta +(7 seater), Zeta+ (8 seater) and Alpha + (8 seater). The three-row premium hybrid MPV has both 7-seater and 8-seater configurations.

The Zeta + (7 seater) is available at the starting price of ₹24.79 lakh, whereas Zeta + (8 seater) is priced at ₹24.84 lakh. The Alpha + (8 seater) is available at the starting price of ₹28.42 lakh. The company has set the subscription fee at a starting price of ₹61,860/-month.

The MPV is powered by an intelligent electric hybrid powertrain with a 2.0 litre engine and e-CVT transmission for an exceptional fuel efficiency of 23.24 km/l. Invicto will be the second product in Maruti’s portfolio to have this feature. The INVICTO’s Intelligent Electric Hybrid battery comes with a standard warranty of 8 years/1,60,000 Kms on the NiMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) battery pack.

 It is also equipped with 6 SRS (supplemental restraint system) airbags, 3-point ELR (emergency locking retractor) seatbelts, 360 view camera, Suzuki Connect with e-Call functionality, All Disc Brakes, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) amongst others.

Invicto is the 8th product in NEXA's product. It has signature NEXA elements such as the NEXwave front grille with a sweeping cross bar that connects the twin LED headlamps, which are integrated with NEXTre’ LED DRLs.

It also has a 25.65cm (10.1- inch) touchscreen infotainment system, 6- speaker audio, in-built Suzuki Connect Technology with remote functionalities and 50+ connected features such as e-Care, remote power window close, remote seat ventilation, e-call, etc. Alexa connectivity with 30+ features, smartwatch connectivity, 17.78cm (7-inch) coloured multi-information display with drive mode themes and Eco Score indicator in the instrument cluster.
